5 Electromagnetism and relativity

In this section, we will write Maxwell’s equations in the language of relativity,

and show that the two are compatible. We will first start with a review of special

relativity. We will introduce it in a more formal approach, forgetting about all

that fun about time dilation, twins and spaceships.
